Moduletek Limited Labs has purchased a Bdcom S3956M switch to test the 1G/10G SFP product line, and the following takes you through the unboxing process.

        The front panel mainly has 24 RJ45 ports, 24 1G SFP interfaces, 1 MINI-USB serial port; the back panel mainly has 8 10G SFP interfaces, 2 external power access slots, one of which has been connected to the AC power module.

        Access the power cable to power up the device.

        Use the MINI-USB to DB9 serial cable to connect the PC to the switch through the serial port; the default baud rate of the device: 9600, account/password: admin, log in to the console, execute the command "show version " to view the device model and system version information.

        Use RJ45 twisted-pair cable to access the RJ45 port of the switch, use the browser to access the WEB management interface; default IP: 192.168.0.1 (configurable), account/password: admin.
        Note: The switch supports the control of HTTP access, only when the HTTP service is turned on, there is HTTP protocol interaction between the switch and PC, when the HTTP service is turned off, the HTTP protocol interaction stops. Use the following command on the console to configure the switch for HTTP access.
        Switch#configure terminal //Enter global configuration mode
        Switch_config#ip http server //Enable HTTP service
        Switch_config#ip http http-access enable //configure HTTP access mode
        Switch_config#ip http ssl-access enable //configure HTTPS access mode
